Fremont - Deacon Gliffie Ingram Jr.,94, completed his earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward, Sunday, November 24, 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 1:00pm with a viewing from 12:00pm to 12:50pm at Greater Morning Star Church, 705 S. Sycamore Street, Fremont, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Fremont Cemetery, 174 Winding Branch Avenue, Fremont, NC.
He was born on May 2, 1930 in Faison, Duplin County, NC to Gliffie Ingram Sr. and Mamie King Ingram. He leaves to cherish memory his seven children: Larry Ingram, Barry Ingram, Artonyon Ingram, Lorenzo Ingram, Dianna Washington, Rochelle Robin and Shennett Davis; one son-in- law, Cleveland Davis; two sisters-in-law: Peggy Coley and Lois Gray and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
