Goldsboro - Retired SFC Harold Lee Moses Sr., 73, of 1502 Hart Circle, passed on Wednesday morning, February 11, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11:00am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and
Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest in the Raleigh National Cemetery, 501 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh, NC 27610 with full military honors. There will be
viewing held on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 7:00pm until 8:00pm. He was born on January 24, 1942 in Wayne County, NC to Charlie and Helen Austin Moses. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Wheeler Moses and two children: Harold Moses Jr. (Terrelyn) and Scarlett (Wilbert) Deans of Killeen, Texas; three step-children: Derrick (Cheryl) Wheeler of Leland, NC, Renee Wheeler of Harrisonburg, VA and Marcus Wheeler of Durham, NC; two sisters: Thelma Holloway of Goldsboro, NC and Betty Jean Smith of Richmond, VA; one brother, Charles Moses of Goldsboro, NC, 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Professional, sympathetic, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
