Goldsboro - Mr. Harold W. Williams, 78, passed on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, 211 West Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC at 2:00pm. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with the family present to receive friends from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on October 4, 1943 in Johnston County, NC to John R. and Sarah Annie Lassiter Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Pecolia Elaine Hinton Williams of the home; his granddaughter, Jolan Williams; his siblings: his brothers: Braxton (Winnie) Williams of Greensboro, NC, Rufus (Christine) Williams of Raleigh, NC and Angenette Pierce of Durham, NC; a beloved son-in-love, Mark Boxley and many other loving relatives and friends.
