Roosevelt, New York - Ms. Harriet Ann Best, 69 formerly of Wayne County, passed on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Winthrop Hospital, Mineola, New York. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 1:00pm at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC.
She was born on July 3, 1950 in Fremont, NC to Silas "BoBo" and Clara Braswell Best. She is survived by her father; daughter, Kim Best; grandchildren; sister, Carrie Best and three brothers: Marvin (Sarah) Best, James Best and Willie Best.
