Rockaway Park, NY - Ms. Helen Lee Grandy Cherry, 79 of 10500 Shore Front Pkwy, formerly of Goldsboro, passed on January 30, 2014. The celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, february 6, 2014 at 11:00 am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations with Elder James E. Collins officiating. She will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park, 2965 US 117 Hwy, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel. She was born on August 18, 1934 in Wayne County, NC to James A. and Inez Becton Grandy. She is survived
by her husband, Donald Cherry Sr. of California; her children, Donna
Deady and Donald C. Cherry both of New York; and a host of other
