Goldsboro - It is with profound sorrow, but great faith in our Heavenly Father that we announce the passing of Ms. Helen Branch Johnson, 101, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Somerset Court Assisted Living of Goldsboro, NC. The home going celebration will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:50am at St. James AME Zion Church, 205 S. George Street, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
