Pikeville - Ms. Henrietta Jones Reid, 92 of 825 Pikeville-Princeton Road, passed on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11:00am at First Missionary Baptist Church, 410 S. Goldsboro Street, Fremont, NC with Reverend Dr. Ira Reynolds officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Hooks Grove Church Cemetery, 290 Hooks Grove road, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations of Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on July 13, 1926 in Wayne County, NC to Supremia Coley. She is survived by ten children: Willie R. Reid (Marilyn) of Pikeville, Roy R. Reid (Ethel) of Goldsboro, Mary R. Jones of Goldsboro, Bobby Reid (a very devoted son of the home, who took loving care of her in her declining years), Etheldria Reid of Pikeville, Doris R. Ford of Goldsboro, Tedaro Reid (Ethelene) of Pikeville, Bayron Reid (Ollie) of Goldsboro, Melvin Reid of Goldsboro and Kevin Reid of Raleigh.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vermell Reid and a brother, David Coley.
