Goldsboro - Mr. Herman L. Gooding, 85, completed his earthly journey on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2:00pm at St. Peter Church of Christ, 602 J P Harrison Blvd, Kinston, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Mills Memorial Gardens, 1300 Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Kinston, NC.
He was born on October 18, 1938 in Trenton, NC to Herman L. Gooding and Jazebell Jones. He is survived by his children and other loving relatives and friends.
