La Grange - Mr. Herman "Leroy" Lewis, 71, completed his earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at home surrounded by his loved ones. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 11:00am at the Bishop Dr. J.E. Reddick Tabernacle, 1011 Dr. JE Reddick Circle, Kinston, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro,NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Central Heights FWB Church, 302 Ervin Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on June 15,1953 Lenoir County, NC to Bertha Lewis and Alexander Waters. He is survived by his wife, Denice Porter Lewis; his children and other loving relatives and friends.
