Florida - Mr. Herman Watson,Jr. “Brother”, 78 formally of Goldsoro, NC transitioned on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Community Hospice UF Health in Jacksonville, Florida. A memorial service is scheduled for Sat., September 26, 2020 at 11 am at JB Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on March 22, 1943 in Goldsboro NC to the late Herman Watson and Sylvia Herring Watson.
After the untimely demise of his mother, he was reared by family friend: Junious and Beatrice Lee on Whitfield Dr. Among his survivors are two sisters: Linda (Kirby) Brown of Jacksonville, Florida and Carolyn (Robert ) McCoy of Goldsboro, NC; a foster brother, Micheal White.
He was the brother of the late Doretha Lewis, JoAnn Daughtry and Edgar Yelverton, Sr.
