Dudley - Mr. Hubert A. Plummer, 70, passed on Tuesday morning, January 15, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. The celebration of his life will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Abundant Life Baptist Church, 4138 US Highway 70 West, Princeton, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born in Wake County, NC to the late Herbert A. Plummer Sr. and Mary Dunstan Plummer. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Dunn Plummer; two sons: Hubert A. Plummer Dunn (Joleesa Lincoln) and John D. Dunn (Niya James); two daughters: Alicia Banks and Yolanda Plummer Mitchell (Tyrone); five grandchildren: Leela and Aleekah Dunn, Janiyah Grey, Joncir Dunn and Ladrea Pretty; two brothers: Herbert Plummer Jr. (Carolyn) and Melvin Plummer (Angela); three sisters: Joyce Broadie (Jameel), Bevelin Hodge (Keith) and Lovie Harris (Freddie); four brothers-in-law: Jack (Sherette), Richard, Berry and Matthew Dunn all of Goldsboro and a host of nieces, nephews ,aunts, uncles and friends. The family will receive friends at the home 105 Fulton Road, Dudley, NC.
