The homegoing celebration will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 1:00pm at St. Mark FWB Church, 222 Nelson Street, Mt. Olive, NC with Elder Merwyn K. Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest in Devotional Gardens. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 12:00pn until 1:00pm at the church. She was born on August 9, 1932 in Duplin County, NC to Lonius and Mary Williams Carroll. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Harry "Hut" Lofton. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Valerie Holliman, her son, Edward Lofton, six grandchildren, and three sister, Mary Miller, Shirley Jordan and Lenora Frederick. A professional, sympathetic, dignified, and compassionate service have been entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
