Goldsboro - Ms. Iris W. Hunter, 59 of 906 Lincoln Drive, passed on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 2:00pm at Greater St. John FWB Church, 613 Mitchell Road, Dudley, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Resthaven at Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Casey Mill Road, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on July 19, 1957 in Wayne Count, NC to James Worrells and Hazel Simms Worrells.
