Mr. Jackson Eugene Lineback's Obituary
Clayton - Mr. Jackson E. Lineback, 90, passed on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. No formal services will be held.
Mr. Lineback was born January 23, 1931 in Brinkley Arkansas to Leroy Jackson Lineback and Evelyn Patchell Lineback. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverley Fleming Lineback, daughter, Victoria Lineback Brown, son, William B. Lineback, sister, Mary Lineback Word, and eight grandchildren. Jack loved music in many forms and styles; he played the piano, accordion, and ukulele well and shared his passion for music with his family and friends. On the forefront of the computer age, he was one of the first computer programmers, working on UNIVAC computers, and ultimately advanced in Information Technology to management in state government in the age of PCs and mobile devices. His family and friends loved him deeply, will miss him, and cherish the memories he made with them for many years to come.
