Goldsboro - Mr. Jacob Scott Jr., 72, passed on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 3:30pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on May 21, 1948 in Williamsburg County, SC to Jacob Scott Sr. and Fannie McFadden Scott. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Roberta Baker Scott of the home; three children: Veronica (Leonard) Crawford of McDonough, GA, Jarrod (Autumn) Scott of Goldsboro, NC and Kimberly Scott of Alphareta, GA; brothers: George (Dolly) Scott and Mikel (Yvonne) Scott both of Goldsboro, NC and Sandy (Vicky) Scott of Florence, SC; sisters: Annette (John) Burgress of Goldsboro, NC and Teresa (Demetrius) Drayton of Florence, SC; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
