Mrs. Jacqueline Patrick Jones' Obituary
Norfolk, Virginia - Mrs. Jacqueline Patrick Jones, 62 formerly of Goldsboro, passed on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, VA. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00am at Philadelphia Community Church, 357 Hare Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations with the family arriving to receive friends and family from 6:00pm until 7:00pm.
She was born on June 17, 1952 in Wayne County (Goldsboro), NC to Sylvalus Patrick and Bessie Exum Patrick. She is survived by her husband, Elroy, of 34 years; two daughters: Jameka K. Patrick, Greenville, NC and Jacqueline J. Wilson, Virginia Beach; 3 adoring grandchildren, Adrianna, Xavier and Joshua; her mother, Bessie (Lacey) LaPrade; three sisters: Shirley (Rudolph) Peacock, Patricia (Chris) Hatcher and Dorothy Brooks, and one brother, Thomas (Maxine) Patrick all of Goldsboro, NC.
