Goldsboro - Mrs. Jacqueline "JJ" Johnson Williams, 89 of 600 Harris Street, passed on Friday, September 14, 2018 at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 2:00pm at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
She was born on September 13, 1929 in Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City), NC to James and Essie Spellman Johnson. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Roscoe Williams Jr. She has one son, Rodney(Patricia) Williams of Houston, TX, Karyn Williams Grantham of the home and Pamela(Michael) Gainey of Rocky Mount, NC. She has three grandchildren, Rodney R. Williams, II of Houston, TX, Michael Gainey Jr. of Newport News, Va and Michelle Gainey at Fayetteville State University.
