Goldsboro - Mr. James A. Davis Sr., 85, received his heavenly reward on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:45am at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy’s Road, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. The service will be live streamed on our J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/jb.r.home beginning at 10:55am.
He was born on May 7, 1938 in Lenoir County, NC to Arthur Davis and Sadie Smith Davis. He is survived by his wife, Doris Boddie Davis; his children; grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
