Garner - Mr. James Thomas Frederick, 85, passed on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Wake medical Center, Raleigh, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00am at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, 2591 Beautancus Road, Mt. Olive, NC with Elder Braxton R. Frederick officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the church.
He was born on June 4, 1932 in Duplin County, NC to Bettie Elizabeth Armwood and Lemmie Frederick. He is survived by eight children: Freddie L. Frederick (Valerie), Jerome Frederick (Hattie), William C. Frederick, Ethel F. Best (Alvin), Theodore Frederick (Clarissa), Mary E. Inman, David Frederick and Cindy J. Faison (George).
