James Robert Jenkins, Jr.'s Obituary
Mt. Olive Mr. James R. Jenkins, Jr., 63 of 310-B E. James Street, died Wednesday night, August 8, 2012 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh after a lengthy illness. A private memorial service will be held at the residence of Randy and Jo Williamson. Mr. Jenkins was born June 3, 1949, to the late Rev. and Mrs. James Robert Jenkins Sr. in Mooresville. He is survived by two sons; James Robert Jenkins III of Goldsboro, and Jesse Jenkins of Raleigh; two grandsons, Jason Jenkins and Justin Jenkins of Goldsboro; one brother, Joseph Allan Jenkins of Guilford Co.; and two sisters, Joann Creech of North Wilkesboro, and Julie Jenkins Wyatt of Ferguson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy David Jenkins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be mailed to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC, 27603. Final sympathetic and dignified service has been entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
