Goldsboro - Mr. James Hubert Leonard, 64 of 410 S. Leslie Street, passed on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born June 27, 1951 to Doretha Morris Leonard and John Wesley Seaberry. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Leonard; three daughters: Dorothy Dewitt (Mike) of Florida, Nora Robinson (Dula) of Goldsboro, NC and Alice Wright of Mount Olive, NC; two sons: James Leonard Jr of Goldsboro, NC and Tyronnie Cox of Goldsboro, NC; four sisters: Sarah Richardson (Joe) of Japan, Jo Anne Rushing (Charlie) of Goldsboro, NC, Joyce Leonard of Mount Olive, NC and Pauline Leonard of Mount Olive, NC; five brothers: Charles Leonard (Helena) of Fayetteville, NC, Billy Seaberry of Goldsboro, NC, Wesley Leonard (Susan) of Mount Olive, NC, John Leonard of Mount Olive, NC and Terry Leonard of Spartanburg, SC.
