Goldsboro - Mr. James H. Loftin, 86, peacefully transitioned from his earthly home on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at home surrounded by family. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 1:00pm at St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church, 306 W. King Street, La Grange, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Westview Cemetery, Hillcrest Road, Kinston, NC. There will be a wake held on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church, 306 W. King Street, La Grange, NC.
He was born on September 9, 1936 in Lenoir County, NC to James "Jim" Loftin and Cora Jarman Loftin. He is survived by his children; grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
