Dudley - Mr. James Edward Owens Sr., 51, formerly of Duplin County, passed on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Vidant Duplin Hospital, Kenansville, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 2:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations of Goldsboro. He will be laid to rest at the Wynn Memorial Gardens, E. James Street, Mt. Olive, NC. There will be a visitation held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the funeral home from 6:00pm until 7:00pm.
He was born on March 27, 1966 in Duplin County, NC to Walter Roscoe Owens and Patricia Ann Harrison Owens.
