Goldsboro - Mr. James "Jas" Rowe, 88 of 209 Graham Street, passed on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2:00pm at St. Mark Church of Christ DOC, 700 W. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on January 12, 1931 in Wayne County, NC to Mallon and Mae Cora Barnes Rowe. He is survived by his wife, Martha Giles Rowe and his children.
