Goldsboro - Mr. James Aaron Simmons, 72, completed his final earthly assignment on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Legacy Memory Care, Kinston, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 4:00pm with a viewing from 3:00pm to 3:45pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a private interment.
He was born on May 23, 1952 in Lenoir County, NC Aaron Simmons and Ava Grady Simmons. He is survived by his wife, Tonette Speight Simmons; his children and other loving relatives and friends.
