New York - Mr. James Earl Stevens, 70 formerly of Duplin County, passed on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Bishop Henry Hucks Nursing Home, in Brooklyn, New York. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He will be laid to rest in the Cobb Cemetery, Faison, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in the chapel. He was born on July 24, 1943 in Duplin County, NC to the late McClure and Annie Mozell Warren Stevens Sr. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
