04/14/1939 - 02/12/2014 Goldsboro - Mr. James Arthur Wells, 74 of 600 Lockhaven Court, Apt 219, passed on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 3:00 pm at New Daniel Chapel Church, 789 New Daniels Chapel Road, Fremont, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm with the family present from 5:00 p until 6:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He will be laid to rest in the Fremont Cemetery, Winding Branch Road, Fremont, NC. He was born in Wayne County, NC on April 14, 2014 to Cora & Milford Howell and William Spruill. He is survived by six children. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. The family is receiving friends at the home of his daughter, 202 Brandywine Drive, Goldsboro, NC (Saulston).
