Goldsboro - Ms. Janet L. Jennette, 74, departed this earthly journey, Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Genesis Nursing Home, Mt. Olive, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 5:00pm with a viewing from 3:00pm to 4:45pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. The family will have a private interment service at a later date.
She was born on January 5, 1949 in Wayne County, NC to Frank Dancy and Minnie Brodie. She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Jennette of Goldsboro, NC; one son, Andre Jennette, Jr. of Dudley, NC; four grandchildren: ; Tiffany Lewis of Raleigh, NC, Michael (Jatuann) Jennette of Browns Summit, NC, Ashley (Craig) Smith of Kinston, NC and Tamya Lewis of Goldsboro, NC. Three great-grandchildren: Ameniah Jennette, Michael Jennette, Jr. and Harper Smith. One Special great-granddaughter; Harmonii Patterson. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
