Goldsboro - Mrs. Janice Buckrham Best, 66 of 302 Cone Street, passed on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2506 New Hope Road, LaGrange, NC.
She was born in Wayne County, NC on July 29, 1949 to Lemiah Buckrham and Ella Lewis Buckrham. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her husband, Linwood Earl Best; daughter, KeSha Johnson; grandsons: Khiry Best, KeShon Johnson and Zerrick Johnson; her mother, Ella Buckrham Jackson; sisters: Ellen Buckrham Coley of Stockbridge, Ga., Sandra Davis of Goldsboro, NC and Glinda Harris of LaGrange, NC; two brothers: Rev. Charles Howard and Dr. Harold Warren of Goldsboro, NC; three sister-in-laws, four brother-in-laws, four aunts: Minnie Warren Bell, Delores Summers (Lindbergh), Minnie Swinson Lewis and Barbara Lewis Best.
