Goldsboro - Ms. Janice R. Sumlin, 69, passed on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held graveside on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:45am at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
She was born in Wayne County, NC to John Thomas Lanier and Pauline Rowe Lanier. She is survived by her Deatrice Sumlin of San Diego, CA; Donte Francis Sumlin (Mandisa) of Goldsboro, NC; and, Mikeric Tolliver of Greenville, NC; her grandchildren; siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
