Goldsboro - Mr. Jasper Richardson Jr., 81, passed on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 12:00 noon at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 2:00pm with military honors. There will be a viewing held on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 11:00am to 12:00 noon at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on October 13, 1937 in Wayne County, NC to Jasper and Melissa Barnes Richardson Sr. He survived by his wife, Jessie Mae Wynn Richardson.
