Fremont - Mr. Jemel Sherrod, 39 of 503 S. Vance Street, passed on Monday, December 23, 2013. The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 1:00 pm at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. He will be laid to rest in the Fremont Cemetery, Fremont, NC. There will be a wake on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He was born on April 11, 1974 in Wayne County, NC to Ernestine Sherrod. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B.
