Clayton - Mr. Jerome Vashon Ragland Jr., affectionately known as "Shon" 43 formerly of Goldsboro, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 11:00am at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 10:00am to 10:50am at the church.
He was born on July 22, 1973 in Wayne County, NC to Jerome Ragland Sr. and Pastor Alice Murphy Ragland. He is survived by his son, son, Raheem Forsythe; his daughter, Zaria Ragland; one God-daughter, Isis Mckee; his mother, Pastor Alice M. Ragland and his sister, Lalita Ragland of Goldsboro, NC.
