I was baptized by Jerry's Dad,
the late Rev. T. T. Platt at St. James F.W.B. Church in Farmi NC.
Jerry was one of a kind!! I had the privilege to work with him at Furniture Fair. He was a very kind, giving, and respectable man! He will be missed by not only his family and friends, but by co-workers and customers!
Mr. Jerry was a wonderful & kind man.
His million dollar smile would light up a room!
We're going to truly miss Mr. Jerry!

My condolences and prayers of comfort to the family. I use to work with Jerry at The furniture fair and he was so kind to others and me. Just like the others said always smiling. I had intended to stop by to see him at work. He will be missed. Didn't know he was a PK Kid like me.
