Mr. Jerry Bennett Shaw's Obituary
Bowie MD- Mr. Jerry Bennett Shaw,68, completed his earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward on Friday June 14, 2024 at home. Jerrys' Celebration of Life will be held, Monday July 1, 2024 at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciples of Christ 700 W. Ash Street Goldsboro, NC at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing from 10:00-10:50 AM. The service will be live-streamed at J.B .Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations Facebook Page. Jerry will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 South Bypass), Goldsboro, NC.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Norman Shaw and Mrs. Nora Hobbs Shaw, and his brother Mr. Charles Shaw. Jerry is survived by his sister, Ms. Kim Shaw Early, (Goldsboro, NC) nieces, Carla( Jerome) Frederick of Woodbridge, VA and Carmille (Kealy) Wright of Atlanta, GA., two god-daughters , Dr. Jonelle Stovall of Clayton, NC , Kimberly Stovall of Goldsboro, NC and a special friend Stephanie Dawes (Upper Marlboro, MD)
