Pikeville - Mr. Jesse Mercer, 89 of 101 Colt Court, passed on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a meet and greet from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 US Hwy 70 West, Princeton, NC.
He was born on July 8, 1929 in Braddock, PA to Jesse Daniel and Sarah Brightwell Mercer Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Viola Paterson Mercer and children.
