Raleigh - Mr. Joe Allen Ward, 80 formerly of Wayne County, NC, passed on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:30pm at St. Delight UHC, 976 LaGrange Road, LaGrange, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.
He was born on June 18, 1937 in Wayne County, NC to Simon and Mamie Bell Ward. He is survived by his wife and three children.
