Goldsboro - Reverend John L. Harrington, 77, was called home to be with his heavenly father on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at UNC Wayne Healthcare, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11:30am with a viewing from 10:30am to 11:15am at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 601 W. Elm Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 12:00pm at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on November 20, 1946 in Wayne County, NC to Neil Harrington Jr. and Catherine Pipkin Harrington. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Florahette Pridgen Harrington, his children, siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
