Goldsboro - Mr. John Earl Hobbs Sr., 94 of 804 Taylor Street, passed on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Willow Creek Nursing & Rehab Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 12:00pm at St. Mark Church of Christ, DOC, 700 W. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Hwy 117 Bypass, Goldsboro, NC at a later date. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at the J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on November 3, 1922 in Wayne County, NC to Lula Hobbs. He is survived by his children.
