Warsaw Deacon John Robert Miller, 80 of 305 Sam Miller Road, transitioned from his earthly life to his Heavenly home on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A Homegoing celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 2:00pm from the First Missionary Baptist Church, 243 N. Church Street, Kenansville, NC with Reverend Cornelius Moore officiating. He will be entombed at Devotional Gardens, Warsaw, NC. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at First Missionary Baptist Church, 243 N. Church Street, Kenansville, NC, and on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the church.
He was born in Duplin County, NC to the late James Samuel Miller and Annie Mae McArthur on August 19, 1932. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Carroll Miller of the home and his children.
