Goldsboro - Mr. John G. Williams, 61, completed his final earthly mission on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at 2:00pm at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC with full military honors.
He was born on May 30, 1962 in Sampson County, NC to George Allen Hooper and Gennie Williams. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Loftin Williams; his children and other loving relatives and friends.
