Kinston - Mr. Johnnie Redding, 92 of 2205 Rouse Road, passed on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00am at the Original Patterson Chapel Church, 408 Highway 58 South, Kinston, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Baker Family Cemetery, Kinston, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
He was born in Lenoir County, NC on November 10, 1924 to Mary Redding & Dave Thominson. He is survived by one daughter, Kashia Redding.
