Rodney Bailey
To the Family of Johnny Little,
Please accept my deepest condolences. June was a stand‑up man whose influence reached far beyond the places he worked. He mentored me at 7‑11 and later at the Goldsboro Fire Department, where he became the first firefighter to teach me how to pump a fire truck. That moment wasn’t just a lesson — it was the beginning of a standard he set for me: work with pride, stay calm under pressure, and always look out for the people beside you.
June was a devoted family man, someone who carried himself with quiet strength and steady kindness. He was a good friend, a patient teacher, and the kind of person whose impact stays with you long after the moment has passed.
He will be missed, and he will be remembered.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Rodney Bailey
