Dudley - Mr. Joseph A. Jones Jr. 83, formerly of Washington, DC, completed his earthly journey on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at home surrounded by family. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00am with a viewing at 10:00am at Trinity AME Zion Church, 3505 16th Street NW, Washington, DC. He will be laid to rest at the Parklawn Cemetery, 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD.
He was born on April 19, 1940 in Washington, DC to Joseph Allen Jones Sr. and Ruby Parker Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Norma Jean Lawrence Jones; his children; grandchildren; great grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
