Josiah Whitley's Obituary
Dudley - Josiah Whitley, 80, 780 Durham Lake Road, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel, with the Reverend Louis Leigh officiating. Burial will be at Rhodes Memorial Gardens, Durham Lake Road, Dudley, North Carolina. Visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2012 from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel. At other times the family will be at the home of Gwendolyn Carr, 509 Vann St. He was born August 17, 1931, to the late Henry Whitley and Willie Mae Cobb. He is survived by two children: James Faison and Joey Whitley. Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
