Goldsboro - Ms. Joyce Ann Parks, 76 transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, November 20, 2023 at UNC Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC. The Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 4:00pm with a viewing from 3:00pm to 3:45pm at J. B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
Joyce was born on May 2, 1947 in Nash County, North Carolina to Hadie Atkinson and Verler Strickland. She is survived by her daughter, Marion Atkinson; her grandchildren: Rodney Atkinson and Brittany Atkinson both of Goldsboro, NC; her siblings: Bernice Simmons, James Atkinson, Thomas Atkinson and Timothy Atkinson ( Goldsboro, NC); five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and other loving relatives and friends.
