Mrs. Karen Denise Jones' Obituary
Pikeville - Mrs. Karen D. Bryant-Jones, 58, received her ultimate healing on Friday, August 11, 2023 at the SECU Hospice House Johnston, Smithfield, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly (GRDA), 211 West Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC.
She was born on January 30, 1965 in Duplin County, NC to George O. Bryant and Etta Mae Newkirk Bryant. She is survived by her soulmate and loving husband, Perry A. Jones; her sons: three sons: Gary Bryant of Greensboro, NC, Darrius Bryant of Greenville, NC and Anthony McClain of Fremont, NC; stepdaugher, Tashonda McClain of Goldsboro, NC; mother, Etta Bryant of the home; sisters: Faye Murphy of Alexandria VA, Faye Bryant of Goldsboro, NC, Louvenia Bryant of Goldsboro, NC and Patricia Williams of Goldsboro; brother, Andrew (Phyllis) Bryant of Thomasville, NC; grandchildren: Yamia, Jashaun and Jade and host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
