She was born on March 11, 1954 in New Haven, Connecticut to Thomas White and Johnnie Mae Jones White. Karen was predeceased by her son, Johnny Hicks. She is survived by and leaves to cherish her memories her sisters: Pamela Fitzpatrick and Rhonda Hayward; her brother, Thomas White, a dear friend, Larry Holley, as well as a host of family and friends.
