Goldsboro - Ms. Karyn Bene' Williams Grantham, 52 of 600 Harris Street, passed on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at home surrounded by family. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 12:00 noon at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on January 25, 1966 in Wayne County, NC to Roscoe and Jacqueline "JJ" Johnson Williams. She is survived by her father, Roscoe Williams of the home; her sister, Pamela Williams (Michael) Gainey of Rocky Mount, NC and her brother, Rodney R. (Patricia) Williams of Houston, TX; her nephews: Rodney R. Williams, II of Houston, TX and Michael Gainey Jr. of Newport News, Va and her niece, Michelle Gainey at Fayetteville State University.
