Faison - Ms. Katherine H. Craft, 73, gained her wings on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. The family will have a private ceremony and will receive friends and family at Terry & Kelly Kornegay's home.
She was born on Oct 2, 1948 in Duplin County to the late Drifty & Minnie Lee Holmes. Everyone close to her called her Kat. She retired from DM Price & Sons several years ago. Kat loved her flowers & spending time in the yard. She also loved spending time with her son Terry, sister in law Chrystal Homes and her grandchildren. She is survived by her son Willard Terry Kornegay & wife Kelly Cox Kornegay. Her grandchildren Evan & Tanner Kornegay, Colby, Dakota and Madison Leary & Jackson Faulk. Her brothers Milton & wife Phyllis Holmes, brother Raeford & Sharon Holmes, Brother Joey & wife Chrystal Holmes. Sister Pam and husband Doug Swinson and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband Ken Craft, son Scotty Kornegay & daughter Michelle Kornegay Garrison, grandson Bryant Garrison. Many Siblings, Wanda Davis, Patricia Bowden,Sherwood Holmes,Randy Holmes, Hoyt Lee Holmes, Wayne Holmes & many nieces and nephews.
